2025 Alumni Gala Dinner, Casablanca, (January 25, 2025)

The Al Akhawayn Alumni Association (AAA) successfully organized its annual gala dinner on January 25, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Casablanca. Alumni from all walks of life came together for a memorable evening filled with celebration, unity, and solidarity. The event provided a unique opportunity for the alumni of Al Akhawayn University to reconnect, share significant moments from their educational journey, and explore ways to contribute to the development of their community. The evening was skillfully hosted by comedian Mr. Hassan El Fad and singer Mr. Othmane Mouline, who created a warm and friendly atmosphere, making the occasion even more unforgettable.

In his speech, Hamza El Meray, President of AAA, emphasized that this gala which was first introduced in 2024, marks the beginning of a bold new tradition. He pointed out that this event, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of our university, celebrates the essence of Al Akhawayn University and the strong ties that bind its alumni. The gala also aims to raise funds to offer deserving students the same opportunities for higher education that alumni were fortunate to experience. Additionally, the funds raised will go towards the renovation of 30 schools in Ifrane, leaving a lasting and positive impact on the region and country that has shaped us all. 

The success of this event is a true testament of the solidarity and dedication of the Al Akhawayn alumni community in driving positive change. Thanks to the exceptional generosity of its members and the steadfast support of its sponsors, the Association raised a significant amount, demonstrating the collective engagement and commitment to making a difference.
