AAA's Ramadan Video Series "Ach Wa9e3 fl Jam3iya" Receives Overwhelming Response
Casablanca, Morocco (March 31, 2023) — The Al Akhawayn Alumni Association (AAA) is delighted to announce the successful launch of its 3-episode video series "Ach Wa9e3 fl Jam3iya" (in English 'What's happening at the Association') during Ramadan 2023. The series, aired every Friday on various social platforms, garnered a tremendous response from the alumni community.
The video series is aimed at keeping the alumni community updated on the latest news and at celebrating the one-year anniversary of the current board of executives' election. Each episode highlighted different aspects of the association's activities and initiatives.
Episode 1: The inaugural episode was presented by Hamza El Meray, President of Al Akhaway Alumni Association. It focused on the restructure and governance of the association, shedding light on the various initiatives undertaken to ensure continuity and sustainability. The episode emphasized the importance of rebuilding trust through transparency, a clear action plan, and well-defined objectives. Additionally, the episode tackled the association's reimagined brand and visual identity, emphasizing a professional look and feel and an improved communication strategy.
Episode 2: The second episode, presented by Soukaina Ouarab, the General Secretary of AAA, highlighted the significance of maintaining a two-way communication channel with the alumni community. Soukaina addressed the challenges faced in establishing a robust and cleansed Alumni database, while remaining compliant with the latest Moroccan data privacy laws. In addition, Soukaina touched upon the importance of fostering stronger connections through organizing a series of ftours and after-work gatherings worldwide, providing opportunities for alumni to reconnect. These meet-ups resulted in the establishment of chapters and clubs, strengthening the alumni network further.
Episode 3: Taha Benazoun, Communications and Digital Lead of AAA, presented the third episode. The focus was on enhancing the value of the AUI diploma and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Al Akhawayn University, outlining their respective roles and responsibilities. Additionally, the episode highlighted the signing of two contract agreements for both a full-time resource (FTE) as well as the highly anticipated state-of-the-art digital platform. This portal promises to enhance alumni engagement and interaction, providing an innovative space for the community to connect and collaborate.
The AAA Ramadan video series was met with immense interest and received positive feedback from the alumni, reinforcing the association's commitment to its members and their continuous support.
